Come inside

Welcome to a grand old dame - a beautiful old Queenslander home. A home of with a long history no doubt, treated with love and care.

Love this day bed, the beautiful panelled walls, the interesting branch-ey piece on the wall.

A place to settle and enjoy the view...

Some natives branches to greet you at the door...

Isn't it gorgeous? And you haven't even seen inside yet! For more of this beautiful, classic Australian home, and the adorable looking family who live here, click here.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Best wishes,

It's mind boggling to me how you can store/file/catalog all of these beautiful images. It's always like a vacation when I come to your blog!

That woman really knows how to stick with a theme! Those high ceilings are fantastic and all that beadboard!

I listed your blog with a thumbnail on Porch Days.

Can you let me know when the house will be for sale? :)

Lovely post, Catherine, I really like this house. The outside already looks like a dream, I wish I could have a home with a porch like this...

Everything I could want in a house!! Even in the right weather zone. haha. It is indeed beautiful and I would adore a verandah like that. I could browse through Content Agency all day, but I never found this one! Great Find!!

I've lived in Queensland and often wished I could afford to buy one of those gracious old homes. I really love the wrap-around verandahs wide enough to live on. We had friends who were renting a run down one and we spent many weekends on their verandah while our littlies played together.

Beautiful example of tradditional QLD homes, they really are quite stunning and wish more of them could be preserved in all their glory.

The pitcher and branches are certainly a lovely welcome. It's such a simple yet effective look, I think even I might be able to pull if off. But I would need to take a quick nap on that beautiful porch, before attempting it...

*Sigh* My dream is to live in a Queenslander. I did as a young child and often drive past some beautiful ones now.
