White flower farmhouse

One of my regular reads is Layla's blog The Lettered Cottage. I love her style, her brilliant eye for gorgeous bargains and her enthusiasm for decorating.

Today Layla posted about the gorgeous goodies she received from White Flower Farmhouse, see here. So of course, I had to go and have a look at this shop's website. Oh wow! Full of fabulous, lovely things. I am totally hooked!

This shop specialises in refurbished and hand crafted furniture, vintage garden decor and lots of beautifully handcrafted products such as their own line of soy candles, bags, cushions and driftwood boats.

Old white ironstone - how classic and simple are these lovely pieces?

Fabulous old gym baskets - I have a thing for old metal baskets.

Gorgeous old apocethary bottles.

Metals, silver, browns and textures - gorgeous!

Old theatre marquee letters - yours for just $4 a piece!

Charming vintage bucket, with a seaside theme.

Beautiful faux flowers.

Vintage linens.

Right now I just want to hop on a plane and make my way to Long Island to check out White Flowers Farmhouse store in person.
Seriously, I'm in love with everything, but particularly those driftwood boats. A striped one would look perfect in my son's bedroom. I'm going to email them and find out if they post to Australia!
The owners of the store also have their own fabulous blogs. See here and here. I think I'm going to become a regular reader.
Best wishes,

I had so much fun browsing their site, too - I would love to have one of their reclaimed wood farm tables.

Hope you have a beautiful day, Catherine. xo

Thank you for finding this! I'm off to have a look right now and suspect some of those letters may be landing on my doorstep sometime soon!

I headed straight over there after reading Layla's blog as well! I think I saved about 10 of their photos to my "favorites" file. Between their shop and Layla's blog I'm tempted to redo my living room to make it fresh, crisp and a tad beachy. Ahhh, so much inspiration, so little time.

Lets keep praying that the Aussie $ keeps heading up so we can buy lots & lots! MOTH promised me a shopping trip to the Excited States when the $ gets to 0.95 - reckon I might be waiting though. Love these images!

Hi Catherine,
You are probably biased about the magazines but you are also so right! I look at British and Australian magazines at my local bookstore every chance I get. Though, I do not buy because in Canadian funds they are usually around $12. :/ Too much for me. I buy my $6 (priorities...) coffee and read the magazines whist sipping!
Hope all is well with you and your little man.

I love the apothecary jars (so expensive to buy in the Uk, even vintage ones), and I ADORE the cinema letters!

I have been reading your blog for a month or so now, and am well and truly hooked!

How sneaky!
While I have been tucked away in the "shipyard" -- making boats to sail half way around the world and/or desperately, desperately hunting down more vintage letters -- you guys are all here chatting behind mine and Lori's backs! Hah!

Well, I have to say that it is amazing to be introduced to the very writers whose blogs Lori and I have been drooling over! You are a huge source of inspiration and motivation! Wish I could stay and chat, but you guys are keeping me too busy!!
