…..I keep seeing these Morrocan style pouffes, here there and everywhere…. whispering to me about how comfortable they would be for my feet….how well they would fit in with my living room’s look….how handy they would be for extra seating….

……maybe I’ll start listening, and save up for one. Or perhaps I’ll just close my eyes and cover my ears and keep my pennies in my bank account!

Are you handy with needle and thread? There are some great tutorials out there for these things- it doesn't look difficult at all!
Thanks for stopping by Na-Da Farm!

They do seem to be everywhere don't they, but then again...maybe it just has something to do with that particularly keen eye of yours!

I personally love the stunning rustic four poster bed, but despite the fact that my bedroom isn't tiny...one of these babies would make it feel like a cupboard. Perhaps in my next life :)

They're shouting at me!!

You've rekindled my desire for one after Belinda from R&D/Happy Home inspired me with her purchase.

Just moments ago I almost put an offer in on Ebay, but I stopped myself just in time - I need my $$ for some paint, so once the painting is done, it'll be then next thing on my list.

Do let us know if you cave in and get one!

It's going to be difficult to resist the siren call of the pouffe (especially in white)!!

I adore that last living room, with that large sofa covered with lots of pillows and those pouffes! Heaven!

What pretty inspiration photos. I love that bed! Thank you so much for the advice on the white slipcovers. I have decided that I am going to cover my current sofas with inexpensive white Sure-Fit slipcovers, then when it comes time to purchase all new sofas in a couple of years, I will know whether I want to get them in white or not. I'm hoping that me and the white slipcovers get along, cause I love white! Have a great day! :)

I luv the living room photo. That couch looks so comfy and the color palette is like a soft rainbow sorbet! I've seen those poofs here in Southern Cali too...they look comfy, right?

there's an amy butler pattern for hers, she calls them "gum drop pillows". I think they're super cute too and will probably make them for my family room eventually.

They're sort of sneaking back, aren't they? We had one when I was a child - until the rabbit chewed it to pieces. She used to sit on it as well, so it's obviously a great piece of furniture for all creatures big and small!
Hm. Now I want one, too...

Hi Catherine :-)

Am I mistaken or do the two living rooms you've posted have the same very pretty rug? Of the two rooms, I'm loving the soft pink sofa!! I agree with you, by the way - that pouffe is a must have!

I wanted to drop in and give you the biggest Thank You ever! It's an unbelievable complement that you prefer my old condo's kitchen to the finalist's kitchens... wow!!

I hope you'll come back to DesignTies from time to time!!

Hi Catherine,

I love your post, they are all beautiful photos but my fav. is the pink sofa ~ it looks so very comfortable.

Also the white pouffe is so lovely and would be really useful as an extra chair or footrest.

I love how they are both masculine (in material and texture) and feminine (in colour and shape).

No no--listen to the whispers and get one! We have one in our living room right now, and I'm LOVING it!

Sadly it isn't ours--it's an engagement gift for some friends, but I bought it early so we could get in a little quality time with it before we have to give it away. it's going to be VERY hard to part with it!

Best online source for them is here:

www.tazidesigns.com

They're half the price of any I've seen, and super high quality!
