A country cries

No proper post today. It doesn't seem fitting, after the devastation our country has suffered this weekend.
You can read more about this sad event in our nation's history here, at my friend Kath's blog.
I'll be back tomorrow.
Til then I leave you with a photograph of nature at its best, by the amazingly talented photographer Tria Giovan.

Yes, we have been hearing the news. My heart just breaks for the people affected - no one deserves such sadness but sadly it is the way of the world. Every day I am thankful for my good luck - that is all it is. :)

I have been following the news from Australia with a broken heart. The entire world feels for your beautiful, devastated country and people.

The fire in Australia is all over the news even here in
San Diego...How ironic because we went through the same thing two years ago, as in we were asked to evacuate our home. Lucky for us, we had no damage, just the never ending battle getting rid of the ashes after. I pray that this will be over soon for you all.
